Under RavnAir Group, PenAir (Peninsula Airways) was a regional commuter airline operating to destinations across Alaska, US. With its main base at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport and a fleet of more than 40 aircraft, it served multiple destinations across Alaska, as well as, scheduled services in the east and west coast of the United States.

On 05-Apr-2020, RavnAir Group applied for voluntary petitions of relief under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code to obtain immediate debtor-in-possession funding. The group ceased all air service operations and grounded its fleet.
 
In Jul-2020, Ravn Air Group sold Part 121 carriers Ravn Alaska and PenAir and related assets as a going concern to FLOAT Shuttle. The ownership and control of Ravn Alaska and PenAir is scheduled to move to FLOAT following the closure of all sales from the auctions held by Ravn Air Group.
