About

Thai VietJet Air is a low cost carrier based at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. The carrier is a subsidiary of Vietnamese LCC, VietJet Air and was established as a JV with Kan Air president Somphong Sooksanguan. Vietjet Air reduced its stake in the carrier to 9%, with Thai Vietjet Aviation Company Limited (52%) and International Investment Company limited (39%) owning majority stakes in Thai VietJet Air. The LCC commenced operations on 25-Mar-2015, with a Bangkok-Phuket service.
