Houston Airport System is the manager and operator of Houston's three major airports: George Bush Intercontinental Airport, William P Hobby Airport, and Ellington Airport. HAS is a department of the City of Houston and collectively the three airports form one of North America's largest public airport systems, handling nearly 50 million passenger p/a. George Bush Intercontinental is among the busiest international airports in the country, William P Hobby Airport is primarily a domestic airport and a hub of Southwest Airlines and Ellington Airport is a key general aviation and military facility in Texas.
