Outlook, Forecasts, Guidance
The outlook for aviation markets is the key question for the boardrooms of industry players worldwide. Accurate forecasting has been made more challenging by volatile economic conditions. The emerging markets of the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Latin America and Eastern Europe regions are generally recovering much more strongly from the global downturn than the mature aviation markets of Western Europe and North America.
Providing an independent assessment on the outlook and prospects for companies, countries and regions is a major preoccupation of CAPA and one of its key strengths. In its analysis pieces, CAPA seeks to provide readers with a perspective on where aviation markets are heading, not merely reporting on the news.
CAPA has been producing an annual Aviation Outlook report for the Asia Pacific region since 2002. The 2009 edition is available for download, with the 2010 edition to be published shortly.
