Iberia Maintenance is a division of Iberia. It conducts maintenance for both Iberia and most other Spanish carriers, with line stations at 22 airports in Spain. It also has a presence in the Americas with 24 stations, Africa with 7, and elsewhere in Europe with 25. In 2009, 56.6% of heavy maintenance inspections were performed for third parties. It has a broad range of capabilities, including: airframe, line, powerplant and component maintenance, repair and overhaul; inventory management, engineering support and modifications for civilian operators and the Spanish military.
It reported the following highlights for 2009:
- Revenue: EUR322 million, +4.2%
- EBT: EUR80 million, +9.6%
- Employees: 3,845, +2.1%
