Republic Airways reports Mar-2010 traffic highlights

Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ:RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for March 2010. The Company generated 1.83 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 110% increase from the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 93%. Block hours were 83,799 in March 2010, a 34% increase from March 2009. Consolidated load factor was 80% versus 74% in March 2009. More than 2.7 million passengers were carried during the month, a 59% increase from the same month last year. As a reminder, the 2009 results do not include operations at Midwest Airlines and Frontier Airlines which were purchased by the Company in July 2009 and October 2009, respectively.
